No more scabies!

So I went to the nurse the other day because I had these weird bug bite bumps on my left ankle, right hand, bottom my right foot and around my waist. When I asked what it was she told me she had no clue. That was so nice to hear (NOT) so I made an appointment to see the doctor and thankfully he knew what it was. He told me that I had scabies, which is a form of bed bugs. I guess it's really gross because the females burrow under your skin and lay eggs and that makes you get a small red bump and it's wicked itchy! So in order to get rid of the eggs and itch, you have to put this cream, like sun block consistency, everywhere from your neck to in between your toes. It smells like plastic, but I still put it on and had to get help with my back. I felt like such a loser, but hey now the bugs are gone! (I hope!) I also had to bleach my sheets and blankets and iron my mattress. It was quite the process, but thankfully it is just one treatment.
Other than that my LAST WEEK OF CLASSES has been going normally. One exciting thing about today is that JACKIE CAIN IS COMING TO WELLINGTON! I am so pumped to see someone from my homeland =) That being SMC. I have been majorly missing all of my friends from home and since she is staying in Auckland, she's flying in tonight! I can't wait!! I have tons of fun planned, starting with a party which starts before she even gets in that we'll jump over to later on!
I guess that is all that is up with me for the moment. I hope all is well with everyone else and that no one has had to deal with bed bugs!
